There is no better way to explore the Marlborough Sounds than heading out in a kayak with an experienced guide for the day.

We will show you the little known beaches and reveal snippets of the history of the area, whilst keeping our eyes peeled for some of the marine mammals that might appear.

Expect beautiful beaches, a delicious homemade kiwi lunch and swimming in the pristine waters, there really is no other way of exploring the Sounds!

This trip is suitable for beginners and experienced alike.

    - Natural Environment; most activities take place in a natural environment where there are inherent dangers and risks that could include; adverse weather conditions, water hazards, earthquakes, rockfalls, volcanic activity, earthquakes, and tsunamis

    - Motor Vehicles; additional risks are posed with the use of any sort of motor vehicle, whether travelling on public roads, off-road, by air, waterway or other means. Risks may include but are not limited to: driver error, vehicle or road failure, environmental conditions

    - Pre Existing Health Conditions; A risk of injury or death may be compounded by pre existing injuries or health conditions. Some of these conditions may include but are not limited to: Broken or fractured bones/dislocations or bone disorders, any recent sprains/muscular injuries, skin conditions, High or low blood pressure, High myopia, Heart condition, Epilepsy, Neurological disorders, Diabetes, Asthma, Pregnancy, Prosthetics (including cosmetic implants), Panic/anxiety attacks, fobias, disabilities/physical impairments. Please note the preceding list does not automatically exclude you from participation, and the list is not exhaustive however in the interests of mitigating risk and harm you must disclose and discuss any such conditions with the Experience Operator before participating

    - PsychologicalHealth; adventure activities can carry a risk of strong emotional and psychological reactions, including anxiety, nausea, panic, shock, fainting or dizziness, especially for those with pre-existing phobias or mental health conditions. Please note pre-existing phobias or mental health conditions do not automatically exclude you from participation, however in the interests of mitigating risk and harm it is your responsibilitytodisclose and discuss any such conditions with the Experience Operator before participating

    - Physical Health; Despite all safety measures in place the risk of injury or death still remains

    It is your responsibility to:

    • Be Honest: Be truthful about your medical history, current health status, and any other personal safety factors that may be required such as weight & height. If you have any injuries, medical conditions or concerns, consult with your physician before participating.
    • Be Compliant: Adhere to all safety guidelines, instructions, and restrictions provided by the Experience Operator or Guide.
    • Be Self Aware:Understand your limits. If at any point you feel uncomfortable or unsure about participating, please communicate with the Experience Operator or Guide.

    Risk Acceptance:

    Participants acknowledge and willingly accept all the risks of taking part in this activity, including the possibility of personal injury, death, property damage and any other loss whatsoever resulting from participation in the activity.

    Participants agree and accept to the extent allowed by law that;

    1)any and all duty or liability that Bookme Limited or The Operator may have to you that may be excluded is excluded

    2) Bookme Limited and The Operator are excused for anything beyond their control.

    3) Any liability for loss or damage to life or property, disruption to travel plans, financial loss or costs incurredof any kind, mental injury or trauma, is excluded to the fullest extent allowed by law.

    By accepting this, and proceeding with this booking, I confirm that I have read and understand this Agreement and agree that it will be binding upon my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators and successors.
