Awesome experience
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. We were given a very extensive briefing on how to use the kayaks & equipment, health and safety and what to expect once we were out on the water (from tides and currents to where to see the highlights around Able Tasman). Because of this we had an amazing experience on our full day kayak freedom rental. I would have no hesitation in recommending Kahu Kayaks.

Kayaking success
All staff were super friendly and gave good tips for where to explore on our freedom kayak, plus a shower was available afterwards

Beaucoup d’explications fournies au départ (un peu étourdissant ! ) sur le fonctionnement et la sécurité ... le kayak était propre, avec tout l’équipement nécessaire. Nous avons passé une superbe journée sur une mer calme avec arrêts multiples sur les plages de l’astrolabe et sur Adele Island, avec en prime de nombreux phoques. L’équipe de Kahu a été formidable.

Great fun, safe adventure
My wife and I enjoyed a fun day with Kahu Kayaks at Abel Tasman national park. Now in our early 60s we were a bit older than other kayakers, but had a great, safe time out on the water, exploring the beautiful coastline. Syd gave us a good briefing beforehand and she made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended.

Awesome Experience!
3 weeks on and we are still talking about our amazing day exploring the Abel Tasman waters with Kahu Kayaks. The instruction and safety briefing was excellent and we felt well equipped to kayak our way across the Marahau estuary and along the coastline. We stopped for a picnic lunch on a golden beach we had all to ourselves, then found some seals on Adele Island before heading back to base. Equipment was in excellent order and nothing but high praise for the Kahu team - nga mihi!!
