Hayley said... We have never had a bad experience at Tekapo, we love Tekapo usually!! But this time they’d double booked the rink on a public holiday with the curling and they seemed to be priority the ice wasn’t resurfaced all day and was chunky and even our friends who are avid skaters gave up and went to the pools. They kept saying it was going to be resurfaced then tried to say it was too warm but we have gone on similar days weather wise and still they’ve resurfaced the rink. We saw many others give up and go to the pools as well. And many falling over due to the very rough surface. Such a shame and waste of money! I won’t be going back this year, usually we try to support Tekapo but after that experience we’re all a little meh 😑
