Taxi driver was awesome with his knowledge of the town, very funny guy. We then boarded our plane, awesome pilots with good commentary, everyone has window views, a nice scenic flight. Milford sound itself is stunning. Enjoyed the trip with mitre peak as it's a smaller boat so it's more up close and personal. Also not as crowded except when we got to the waterfall the front side got crowded and unfortunately I couldn't get any of the off splash and I was hoping to get wet. Was told no boats go under the waterfall anymore but we do go close. All in all it's a beautiful trip, we seen dolphins, penguins and a seal. Would bring along Sammy's or a snack. Hot drinks and water is supplied. Would recommend this trip.

The location is the best, right by the town, 2 min walk to all our pick up location for onsen, bungy, shotover jet etc. The room was very nice, loved the lighting, clean room with good service. Enjoyed the vending machines and both the rooftop and social room, where we met some awesome traveller's. There's no mini fridge however there is 2 cups and an ice bucket in the room so we utilized this for our drinks. Free ice machine there also. Would definitely stay here when travelling with my partner again.
