The calm and natural environment enhances the bathing in these thermal hot pools.
Super relaxing and skin felt amazing the following day
Great place to relax and unwind and good that it's adults only. The entrance to location can be easily missed and you end up driving up the Thermal Valley so keep a look out for the entrance signs by the BP garage. Can be quite pricey so look out for the Book.me deals which make it affordable. Be aware that the entry price does, NOT include towels which is extra as are lockers. There are four pools, the top one is the hottest so becareful as it can exceed 40 degrees Celsius. There only appeared to be one tap where you could fill up your water bottle which was not very obvious (it was only because a member of staff pointed it out). There is a nice walkway adjacent to the pools which is worth a visit but is at an extra charge. There are information boards depicting Māori culture and history of the area. There's even a geyser that's supposed to erupt regularly. Good place to experience if you are visiting the area.
