This spectacular flight takes you out across the Bay of Plenty coastline to Whakaari/White Island, one of the most fascinating and active volcanoes in the country. Located 50km offshore, Whakaari rises from the ocean with steaming vents, vibrant sulphur formations and rugged crater terrain - an otherworldly landscape best appreciated from the air.

Stunning views with lovely banter
I took my mum on this flight, and it was such a good time! We got to see over the east coast, to whale Island upto white island. Our pilot was also very lovely and knowledgeable about the area, and he could answer all my mums random questions too😅

Hi Mark. We are sorry to hear your response! As clearly stated in the above listing under notes it says single bookings are waitlisted to confirm spaces which on the day you booked we had no other flights to put you on to make up minimum numbers. You provided us with no phone number and you were emailed on the morning of your flight explaining that your flight was not going ahead! Thanks the team at White Island Flights
