Angela Williams said... The operators were very obliging and cheerful when we met them to get set for our Kayak. Good advice was provided, however a bit more warning that the first few hundred metres is quite a hard paddle if you are used to kayaking on flat lakes. There is a bit of a current that is hard to paddle against when you are not used to it. It becomes easier once you get up the river a bit more. It was very pleasant floating back. We took about 2 hours which was 1 hour 20 up and about 40 mins back.
