Thank you, Kerrier1 for taking the time to review Olveston. We are so pleased you enjoyed your visit.
Our tour guide (name unknown ) was very good and had a touch of humour - just right for a tour like this so I highly recommend this tour and it was inexpensive too so all up really good. Geoff Strang
Thank you, Geoffery for your five-star review. Thank you or your recommendation.
I would highly recommend to give this a visit. It is foremost the most wonderful and pure example of living in the last century especially given that it is a real and living family that have done so as a,gift to Dunedin. It was, easy to book and get too. The guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the house contents and family. Very welcoming and friendly as we're all the staff. Thank you so much
Thank you, Lyn, for your glowing review.
Very friendly staff, well organized tour. Interesting history and story. Beautiful historic house and lovely garden.
Thank you for your review.
I loved exploring this house and our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. The tour was small at the time we chose, with just 3 people, and the tour guide took note of what we were interested in and adapted what she said according. Even my 13 year old son liked it which is always enjoyable. Thanks
Thank you so much for your five-star review, Jennifer! We're thrilled to hear that you felt so well taken care of and that the guide was able to personalise your tour to suit your preferences. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you again soon!

Snapshot in time
Excellent tour guide who was knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. The house and contents are a wonderful snapshot in time and Dunedin is lucky to have this asset gifted to them.
